The new cohort has been admitted across BIMTECH’s flagship two-year postgraduate programmes, including PGDM, PGDM (International Business), PGDM (Insurance Business Management), and PGDM (Retail Management)

The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), an AACSB-accredited business school based in Greater Noida, formally welcomed its Batch of 2026–28 during the 39th “Deeksharambh” commencement ceremony held on campus.

The new cohort has been admitted across BIMTECH’s flagship two-year postgraduate programmes, including PGDM, PGDM (International Business), PGDM (Insurance Business Management), and PGDM (Retail Management). The batch reflects the institute’s continued emphasis on diversity and inclusivity, with women comprising 40% of the incoming students and representation from a wide range of academic and geographical backgrounds.

The ceremony was attended by Arvind Bhandari, CEO and Managing Director of Goodyear India, as Chief Guest, and Badari Narayana, Executive Director at Deloitte India, as Guest of Honour. Addressing students, both industry leaders highlighted the importance of lifelong learning, adaptability, resilience, and curiosity in a rapidly changing professional landscape shaped by technological transformation and evolving workplace demands.

BIMTECH Director Dr. Prabina Rajib encouraged students to view the next 22 months as a transformative journey focused on learning, self-discovery, and leadership development. She emphasised the importance of combining academic excellence with values such as integrity, accountability, and respect for diverse perspectives.

The incoming class includes students from across India, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR, West Bengal, Bihar, Punjab, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Assam. The cohort also represents a broad mix of academic disciplines, ranging from engineering, commerce, and science to humanities and management studies.

The commencement comes at a significant time for the institution, which recently received the 2026 AACSB Global Impact Award under the Teaching and Learning Excellence category for its “AI-Enabled Interview Mastery” initiative. BIMTECH has also strengthened industry and international collaborations through partnerships with organisations such as Singapore Management University, Swiss Re, and UNIQLO, while providing hands-on learning through facilities like the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab and its Centre of Excellence with Hexalog Technologies. The orientation programme included faculty interactions, academic briefings, and sessions designed to familiarise students with campus life and institutional support systems. Through these initiatives, BIMTECH aims to prepare future-ready professionals equipped with industry-relevant skills, global perspectives, and leadership capabilities.
