The grand finale of AlgosQuest’25, a flagship national hackathon hosted by Isourse Technologies, concluded in New Delhi with KIT’s College of Engineering, Kolhapur, emerging as the winner. The event brought together some of India’s brightest student innovators to tackle real-world challenges spanning artificial intelligence, economic modelling, and enterprise technology.
Now in its third edition, AlgosQuest has carved a niche for itself by moving beyond conventional hackathon formats. Instead of theoretical exercises, participants worked on enterprise-grade problem statements that reflect current industry needs. The competition primarily attracted students aged 20–22, positioning them at a crucial stage between academic learning and professional readiness.
Following a rigorous national selection process, six finalist teams from across cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, and New Delhi competed in the finale. Team NullPointer from KIT’s College secured the top position with its solution ‘SoMail’ under the Smart Email Solutions category, demonstrating advanced capabilities in automating and streamlining communication workflows.
The first runner-up position was claimed by Team Dhurandhars from K.J. Somaiya, Mumbai, for their project ‘NOVA’ focused on AI-driven employee insights. Meanwhile, Team Cipher from Amity University, Bengaluru, secured the second runner-up spot with their ‘AI Email Assistant’ solution.
The event featured a distinguished jury panel comprising leaders from industry and consulting sectors, highlighting the growing convergence of technology, data, and policy in India’s innovation ecosystem. Experts noted the high level of execution demonstrated by participants, particularly in areas such as workforce analytics, economic simulation, and AI-powered automation.
The showcased solutions reflected strong real-world applicability, including platforms to predict employee burnout, tools to optimise email communication, and models to simulate economic policy impacts using advanced computational techniques.
With prize winnings exceeding ₹2.2 lakh and opportunities for pre-placement offers, AlgosQuest’25 also served as a launchpad for young talent. Backed by academic collaboration and industry engagement, the initiative continues to strengthen its role as a bridge between academia and the professional world, fostering innovation and career acceleration.
