Anand Kumar Inspires Galgotias University Students with Message of Persistence and Purpose

Speaking to students across disciplines, Kumar highlighted how rapid technological advancements are reshaping traditional career paths, making adaptability and continuous learning more essential than ever

Anand Kumar, Padma Shri awardee and founder of Super 30, delivered an impactful address at Galgotias University, urging students to embrace persistence, patience, and purpose in an evolving career landscape.

Speaking to students across disciplines, Kumar highlighted how rapid technological advancements are reshaping traditional career paths, making adaptability and continuous learning more essential than ever. He emphasized that while opportunities are expanding, success increasingly depends on the ability to stay committed and build capabilities over time.

Drawing from his own journey, Kumar shared four key principles for success: a strong sense of intent, maintaining a positive mindset, relentless hard work, and the patience to stay the course. He encouraged students to revisit fundamentals when faced with challenges and to allow ideas the time they need to mature.

Reflecting on difficult phases in his career, Kumar spoke candidly about moments when criticism and legal challenges made him question his path. He recounted how a mentor’s question—whether he was working for fame or for the students he aimed to help—helped him reconnect with his purpose and continue his work with renewed determination.

The session also featured an interactive discussion with students, addressing concerns around academic pressure, career uncertainty, and comparison. Kumar urged students to remain focused on their individual journeys and to trust the process of gradual growth.

Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer of the university, emphasized the importance of such engagements, noting that exposure to thought leaders helps students navigate a rapidly changing world with clarity and confidence.

Kumar also appreciated the university’s infrastructure and learning environment, encouraging students to make the most of available opportunities. He expressed interest in returning for future interactions.

The session left students with a renewed sense of motivation and a deeper understanding of the value of sustained effort and discipline in achieving long-term goals.
