Pune-based EdTech startup Beep App (formerly EventBeep) has announced the graduation of 210 students from its Advanced Certification in UI/UX Design programme, marking the first convocation under its Beep School of Design initiative.

The programme attracted participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, many of whom began with little or no prior experience in design. Over five months, students progressed from foundational concepts to developing complete, industry-ready portfolios, preparing them for careers in UI/UX design.

Structured as an immersive learning experience, the course comprises four months of guided training followed by a dedicated assessment and portfolio-building phase. The curriculum is divided into UX and UI tracks, covering areas such as design thinking, user research, ideation, prototyping, design systems, interface patterns, usability testing, and final project execution.

A key highlight of the programme is its emphasis on practical exposure. Students worked on real client projects and industry briefs instead of purely theoretical assignments. The training also incorporated widely used tools and platforms such as Figma, FigJam, Framer, Notion, Hotjar, Google Analytics, Behance, Dribbble, and ChatGPT, enabling learners to gain familiarity with real-world workflows.

Mentorship formed a central component of the course, with participants receiving one-on-one guidance from experienced designers working in leading technology and product companies. This approach helped students refine their portfolios, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build confidence to meet industry expectations.

Commenting on the milestone, Saurabh Mangrulkar, Founder and CEO of Beep App, said the initiative was designed to move students beyond theoretical learning and help them build meaningful, portfolio-driven work that reflects their capabilities.

The graduation ceremony served as a platform for students to showcase their projects and reflect on their learning journey. The initiative highlights Beep App’s focus on outcome-driven education aimed at bridging skill gaps and aligning with industry demands.
