In a decisive move to strengthen transparency and credibility in recruitment examinations, the Uttar Pradesh Education Selection Commission has announced the implementation of a strict zero tolerance policy against malpractice. The initiative aligns with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s broader vision of ensuring fair and corruption-free competitive examinations across the state.
Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar confirmed that the upcoming examinations will be conducted under heightened security protocols designed to eliminate any scope for unfair practices. Central to this initiative is the establishment of a state-of-the-art integrated control room at the Commission’s headquarters. The facility is equipped with more than two dozen high-resolution screens, enabling officials to monitor examination centres in real time.
Adding a technological edge, AI-enabled cameras have been deployed across centres to detect suspicious activities instantly. These systems are capable of identifying irregular patterns, helping authorities take immediate action if any malpractice is observed. According to officials, the integration of artificial intelligence marks a significant step toward modernizing the examination process and ensuring complete transparency.
Dr. Kumar emphasized that the Commission is fully committed to maintaining the integrity of the recruitment system. He warned that any candidate found engaging in cheating or other unfair means will face strict consequences without exception. The zero tolerance policy, he added, is intended not only to deter wrongdoing but also to build trust among genuine candidates.
Appealing directly to aspirants, Dr. Kumar urged them to approach the examinations with honesty and adhere strictly to the prescribed guidelines. He also cautioned against believing or spreading rumours and misinformation, reassuring candidates that all processes are being conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
The initiative reflects the Uttar Pradesh government’s continued efforts to improve governance standards and uphold merit-based selection. By combining strict enforcement with advanced surveillance technology, the Commission aims to set a new benchmark for examination integrity in India.
