PlumbexIndia 2026 to Spotlight Urban Water Crisis Solutions in Bengaluru

The event, organised by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), aims to address urgent challenges related to water management, sanitation, and sustainable urban infrastructure.

As India’s major cities face increasing water stress, PlumbexIndia 2026 is set to take center stage in Bengaluru from April 16 to 18 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The event, organised by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), aims to address urgent challenges related to water management, sanitation, and sustainable urban infrastructure.

With rapid urbanisation, depleting groundwater levels, and ageing water systems placing cities like Bengaluru under strain, the event comes at a critical time. It will bring together policymakers, engineers, architects, industry leaders, and innovators to explore scalable solutions for India’s growing water needs.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr. Ram Prasath Manohar, IAS, Chairman of the Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board (BWSSB), along with Mahesh Kumar Khaitan, Director of Sattva Group, and other dignitaries. More than 200 exhibitors are expected to participate, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and systems aimed at improving water efficiency and sustainability.

Key themes at the event include “Engineering Water Security for a Future-Ready India” and “Showcasing Women Leaders Shaping the Plumbing Sector.” These sessions aim to encourage inclusive participation while highlighting practical, real-world solutions.

A major highlight of PlumbexIndia 2026 will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Indian Plumbing Association and the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO). This agreement is expected to strengthen water and sanitation standards within India’s healthcare sector.
