Arizona State University (ASU) has announced the launch of ASU London, a new global campus designed to expand international higher education opportunities, including for students from India.
To outline the vision and impact of the initiative, senior university leaders led by Chris Howard, executive vice president and chief operating officer of ASU, are scheduled to engage with media and partners in India to discuss how the new campus strengthens global academic pathways.
ASU London builds on the foundation of TEDI-London (The Engineering & Design Institute London), which was co-created by ASU in 2020. While continuing TEDI-London’s project-based engineering programmes, ASU London will also introduce new undergraduate offerings in business management, computer science, and electrical and electronic engineering.
Michael M. Crow, president of Arizona State University, said ASU London blends British higher education with ASU’s emphasis on innovation and applied learning. “With a strategic combination of British higher education and American innovation, ASU London will provide students with a transformative global learning experience and prepare them for emerging opportunities worldwide,” he said.
For Indian learners, ASU London offers a dual-country academic model. Eligible students can pursue a UK-accredited bachelor’s degree in London and then progress seamlessly to a master’s degree at ASU’s main campus in the United States. According to the university, the structure allows students to earn two degrees within four years, offering potential time and cost advantages.
ASU said the programmes at ASU London have been developed in collaboration with academics and industry experts from both the UK and the U.S., with a strong focus on practical, real-world learning outcomes.
With access to ASU’s global alumni network of more than one million graduates, advanced technology and AI resources, and extensive industry partnerships, ASU London is expected to play a significant role in strengthening global education pathways and international mobility for students, including those from India.
