Jaro Education, DTU partner to launch industry-focused online degree programmes

The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, seeks to combine DTU’s academic capabilities with Jaro Education’s expertise in digital delivery and learner outreach

Jaro Education has announced a collaboration with Delhi Technological University (DTU) to launch industry-oriented online degree programmes aimed at strengthening workforce upskilling in technology-driven domains.

The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, seeks to combine DTU’s academic capabilities with Jaro Education’s expertise in digital delivery and learner outreach. DTU is ranked 30th in engineering in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 rankings.

Under the collaboration, the two institutions plan to offer flexible, modular and digitally enabled degree programmes designed to meet the growing demand for tech-focused upskilling. The initiative aims to widen access to quality higher education, particularly for learners constrained by geography or rigid academic formats, while aligning curricula with evolving industry requirements.

Together, we aim to create pathways that serve learners and meet industry needs in line with the National Education Policy,” Raman said.

S Indu, dean at DTU, said the collaboration would help the university extend its academic reach and promote lifelong learning. “Partnering with Jaro Education enables us to take our programmes to a wider audience and support innovation and employability,” Indu said.
