IIM Raipur will coordinate the Joint Admission Process (JAP) 2026, a collaborative MBA admissions initiative involving IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi and IIM Tiruchirappalli. The process is aimed at introducing greater uniformity, transparency and operational efficiency in admissions through a common application and evaluation framework.
JAP 2026 is designed as a single-window process to simplify access for applicants while maintaining common academic and selection standards across the participating institutes. The framework provides a standardised approach to candidate evaluation and is intended to reduce duplication in the admissions process.
Following the declaration of CAT 2025 results, the next stages of the JAP 2026 admission cycle will begin in line with the common framework approved by the four IIMs. Candidates meeting the minimum academic and CAT 2025–related eligibility criteria, which will be announced shortly, will be required to complete a mandatory registration on the JAP 2026 portal.
The final shortlisting for the Personal Interview stage will be carried out from the pool of registered candidates, based on category-wise cut-off scores to be announced at a later stage. The Personal Interview process is tentatively scheduled for February–March 2026. Details regarding interview schedules and selection criteria will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through official channels.
Commenting on the development, IIM Raipur director-in-charge Sanjeev Prashar said the institute had been entrusted with coordinating JAP 2026 as part of a collective effort by the participating IIMs to ensure a transparent and standardised admissions process.
Applicants have been advised to regularly check the official websites of the participating IIMs for updates and further announcements related to JAP 2026.
