The IIT Delhi Alumni Association is set to host the IITD Alumni Leadership Conclave 2026 on March 21 at the Hyatt Regency, bringing together a diverse network of leaders, innovators, and change-makers from across industries.
Centered on the theme “Era of Symbiotic आत्मनिर्भरता: Cooperation as a Competitive Edge,” the conclave will reflect on shifting global dynamics and emphasize collaboration as a key driver of competitive advantage. The event is expected to see participation from over 400 IIT Delhi alumni, including CXOs, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, and technology leaders, while engaging a broader global alumni base of more than 65,000 members.
The conclave will feature a series of panel discussions addressing critical and emerging issues shaping the future. A session titled “AI and Humanity: Friend, Foe, or Future?” will examine the societal implications of Artificial Intelligence and explore pathways for responsible adoption. Another session, “Inclusive Learning & Education for the Unknown,” will focus on evolving education systems to prepare individuals for an unpredictable, technology-driven future. Meanwhile, “Ideas to IPO: Start-up Ecosystem Enablers” will highlight the role of innovation ecosystems and collaborative networks in scaling ventures from concept to successful enterprises.
The event will also include an exhibition by IIT Delhi alumni, showcasing emerging startups and innovative ideas, underlining the community’s entrepreneurial spirit.
Speaking about the initiative, Kalpen Shukla noted that the conclave aims to harness the collective strength of the alumni network to exchange ideas, foster partnerships, and explore strategies that contribute to national growth.
With its focus on innovation, collaboration, and shared progress, the conclave seeks to catalyse impactful dialogue and partnerships, reinforcing India’s journey toward a self-reliant and globally competitive economy.
