Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School (LPSSS), Gurugram, hosted Utsah 2025, its annual science and education fair, celebrating creativity, curiosity and experiential learning from students across LKG to Grade 12. The campus was transformed into an interactive space of models, experiments, demonstrations and artistic work—reflecting the school’s growing emphasis on inquiry-driven education.
Vice Principal Kanupriya Mohan described the event as “exuberance at its peak,” adding, “It is a poem written in footsteps, a song sung in giggles and a reminder that every child carries a universe within them. Our students are the poetry that we promise to nurture and the reason Utsah will forever live in our hearts.”
One of the highlights was the Curious Mind Expo, where students presented models on electric circuits, automatic sanitiser dispensers, logic-based number games and everyday science applications. Senior students showcased larger installations such as a natural air cooler designed to improve ventilation in the school building and a Smart AI Dustbin equipped with waste detection and segregation capabilities.
The pre-primary Vidyananda block brought a colourful touch with handmade clocks, numeracy demonstrations, language activities and creative Hindi learning exhibits such as Swaron ka Bageecha. Social science displays on the Harappan civilisation, Disaster Management and Marketing Mix stood out for their research depth and presentation.
The fair also featured cultural performances, art exhibitions and student-led game zones that added to the festive atmosphere. Teachers had worked closely with students for weeks to refine ideas, guide prototypes and prepare exhibits.
Principal Srividya Sridhar said, “Usually, Children’s Day is organised by teachers who perform for their students. Here at Lotus Petal Foundation, Utsah is living up to its name. The students make meaningful models and bring their thoughts alive through their creativity.”
Families visiting the event engaged with the school’s holistic learning philosophy at the admissions desk. With its combination of exploration, creativity and critical thinking, Utsah 2025 reaffirmed LPSSS’s commitment to nurturing confident, curious and future-ready learner
