Marking a first for South India, the Eurasian Institute of Management has launched international colleges in collaboration with globally recognized universities. With academic affiliations from institutions in the UK, Singapore, and Malta, two campuses have been established in the initial phase—one in Chellanam, Kochi, and the other in Vakathanam, Kottayam.
The institutions, Eurasian Leo International in Kochi and SKIMT International in Kottayam, were inaugurated on March 7 by State Fisheries and Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian. The event was attended by prominent dignitaries including Archbishop Kuriakose Mor Severios, Metropolitan of the Knanaya community, Eurasian Institute of Management Managing Director Vishnu Sajeev,
and community leaders.
Admissions have commenced for diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs ranging from Level 2 to Level 7 across diverse fields such as Business Management, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Luxury Brand Management, Automotive Engineering, Fashion Technology, Psychology, and Hospitality. The first academic batch is set to begin classes in May.
The campuses span 5 acres in Kochi and 10 acres in Kottayam, offering modern infrastructure and international-standard learning facilities. A key highlight is the introduction of a twinning education model, allowing students to complete the first two years in Kerala and the final year at partner universities abroad.
This system significantly reduces the financial burden typically associated with overseas education. Additionally, students who prefer to remain in India can complete their entire course locally while still earning internationally recognized certifications. The institute also assures a highly qualified faculty team, including experts from abroad, to deliver quality education aligned with global
standards.
