An international teachers’ exchange programme was organised at Asoka World School under the aegis of the Education International Organisation on Tuesday(February 3), facilitating academic collaboration and cross-cultural interaction between Indian and Swedish educators.

The visiting delegation from Sweden included Mr. Mathias Wichan Wikström, Ms. Aya Ameen, Ms. Angela Desiree Singh Tedborn, and Mr. Nils Staffan Eriksson. The visit focused on sharing pedagogical practices and strengthening global classroom perspectives.
As part of the programme, participating teachers engaged in structured activities based on two educational videos. The sessions were designed to encourage discussion, teamwork, and reflective thinking, enabling the exchange of teaching methodologies and innovative classroom approaches.
The programme also included a cultural component, during which the Malayalam teacher introduced the visiting educators to a traditional Malayalam lullaby. The presentation was received with enthusiasm and appreciation by the guests.
During the reflection session, teachers from both countries shared their professional experiences and observations. One of the guest teachers expressed his admiration for the teacher–student ratio at the school and noted the respect and discipline shown by students towards their teachers.
