Reliance Jio Launches ‘AI Ready School’ Campaign in Kerala to Build Future-Ready Digital Skills

As part of the initiative, Jio is rolling out an AI Foundation Course across educational institutions to equip teachers and students with practical, industry-relevant AI skills

Reliance Jio has launched its ‘AI Ready School’ campaign in Kerala, a large-scale digital education initiative aimed at preparing schools and colleges for the era of artificial intelligence.

As part of the initiative, Jio is rolling out an AI Foundation Course across educational institutions to equip teachers and students with practical, industry-relevant AI skills. The campaign has already reached more than 755 schools and 104 colleges across the state, training over 2,350 teachers and more than 6,000 students.

Students can enrol in a four-week free online Jio AI Classroom programme and complete the course via jio.com/ai-classroom using a desktop or laptop. The programme is designed to provide hands-on exposure to AI technologies and real-world applications.

Training sessions focus on enabling educators and students to effectively use AI tools and prompts in academics and everyday tasks. Participants are introduced to platforms such as NotebookLM and other AI tools for note preparation, assignment writing, coding, project ideation, design thinking and interview preparation, supporting both academic and professional development.

To further promote digital adoption, Jio is also offering all its unlimited 5G users a complimentary Google Gemini Pro plan worth ₹35,100 for 18 months, which can be activated through the MyJio app.

Through the ‘AI Ready School’ campaign, Reliance Jio aims to accelerate digital transformation in education and enable students and educators in Kerala to become future-ready in an AI-driven learning ecosystem.
