Intel partners with iDream Education to advance ‘PadhAI Ka Future’ initiative

As laptop ownership among school-going children rises, attention has largely focused on hardware specifications such as processor, memory and storage

Intel has partnered with iDream Education to advance PadhAI Ka Future, a national initiative aimed at making student laptops across India safer, more secure, and purpose-built for learning.

As laptop ownership among school-going children rises, attention has largely focused on hardware specifications such as processor, memory and storage. However, the collaboration highlights a growing concern that laptops, without adequate safeguards, provide unrestricted access to the internet, exposing children to age-inappropriate content, online risks and digital distractions.

The initiative is built around the idea that a laptop becomes an effective learning tool only when it is supported by trusted and structured educational resources. Under PadhAI Ka Future, the partners aim to reduce risks associated with unguarded internet access and social media, provide access to bilingual and curriculum-aligned digital learning content, and enable parental oversight through integrated safety and control features.

As Intel’s official learning partner for the initiative, iDream Education is integrating its iPrep Learning App into Intel-powered student laptops. The app offers certified educational content across classes and subjects, including NCERT-aligned videos, practice modules, quizzes and assessments. According to the partners, the integration allows students to begin learning immediately without navigating multiple platforms, while ensuring a safe and age-appropriate digital environment.

The collaboration comes amid increasing concern over children’s digital exposure in an era of constant connectivity, online video platforms, social media and emerging AI tools. The initiative reflects a broader shift in the education technology space—from simply distributing devices to creating guided, secure and meaningful digital learning environments for students.
