Vedantu Unveils ‘Ved’, an AI Mentor Designed to Deliver Personalised Academic Support at Scale

Vedantu said the system addresses a long-standing challenge in digital learning — providing scalable, hyper-personalised attention.

Edtech firm Vedantu has introduced Ved, an AI-powered personal mentor designed to give students customised, human-like academic guidance across their learning journey. The company said the tool has been built using insights from its Master Teachers and trained on millions of hours of classroom interactions to make structured mentorship accessible at scale.

Ved functions as a continuous learning companion that analyses attendance, test performance, practice behaviour and in-app activity to identify gaps and guide students in a timely, contextual manner. Vedantu said the system addresses a long-standing challenge in digital learning — providing scalable, hyper-personalised attention.

“Ved does not replace the teacher. It amplifies the teacher’s ability to guide every student continuously,” said Pulkit Jain, Co-Founder of Vedantu, in a statement. “Students are no longer learning in isolation; they are being guided with context, care, and clear next steps.”

The platform includes four key features: LearnList, which creates structured playlists of videos, SmartNotes and quizzes; InstaSolve, a 24/7 doubt-clearing tool offering step-by-step solutions; ScoreBooster, which analyses test data to generate improvement plans; and LectureLens, which transcribes classes, breaks them into segments and produces SmartNotes and quizzes for efficient revision.

Anand Prakash, Academic Head and Co-Founder, said in a statement that Ved gives students clarity on “where they stand and what they must do next,” helping build confidence and discipline.

Several features, including LearnList, InstaSolve, ScoreBooster and LectureLens, are available free on the Vedantu app and website. Paid learners receive deeper personalisation based on class histories and performance data.
