The National Zoological Park (NZP) reopened its gates to the public today, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of 8,065 visitors, including 954 students from 12 schools, on its first day back in operation. The reopening was marked by the launch of the zoo’s new ‘Insta Ticket Booking Service,’ designed to further streamline the entry process.
The newly introduced Insta Ticket Booking Service allows visitors to quickly scan a QR code at the entrance and book tickets on the spot, with payments accepted via major UPI apps like PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay, BHIM, as well as by debit cards, credit cards, and net banking. This service supplements the existing online booking facilities available through the zoo’s website, offering an even more convenient, time-saving, and user-friendly experience.
According to zoo officials, many guests made use of the new system on reopening day and shared positive feedback about the improved entry process. The NZP’s continued focus on upgrading visitor amenities and embracing technology underscores its commitment to providing a memorable and secure experience amid nature and wildlife.
